Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AZED LLC ("we", "us", "LevelRig") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit levelrig.com (the "Site").

The data controller responsible for your personal data is:

Data we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Usage and analytics data: pages viewed, time spent, referring pages, approximate location (country/region), device type, browser and operating system, collected through Google Analytics once you consent.
  • Advertising identifiers and cookies: identifiers set by advertising cookies to serve and measure ads, and — where you consent — to personalise them.
  • Technical data: IP address (truncated/anonymised where possible), and log data generated automatically by your browser.
  • Game offer clicks: when you click a game offer, we record a random click ID, the offer, the page you came from, your country, operating system and device type, your IP address and browser user agent, and, only if you accepted analytics or advertising cookies, the Google Analytics and Meta identifiers already stored in your browser. The click ID is passed to the partner network so it can tell us if the game was installed.
  • Data you provide directly: for example, if you contact us by email, the content of your message and your contact details.

Purposes of processing

  • Operating, securing and maintaining the Site;
  • Measuring audience and understanding how the Site is used (analytics);
  • Displaying advertising and measuring its performance, once display advertising is enabled;
  • Personalising advertising (only with your consent);
  • Responding to your requests and messages;
  • Tracking affiliate link clicks (Amazon Associates and similar programs) to earn a commission on qualifying purchases — this does not affect the price you pay;
  • Recording game offer clicks and the resulting installs, to get paid by the partner network and to measure which pages and campaigns work. If you accepted cookies, the install is also reported to Google Analytics and Meta so we can measure our advertising.

Cookie consent

We use Google Consent Mode: analytics and advertising cookies default to "denied" and are only activated after you accept them via the consent banner. See our Cookie Policy for details, including how to change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Third parties and recipients

We share data with the following categories of service providers, who process it on our behalf or as independent controllers:

  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: audience measurement and, once enabled, advertising. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Amazon Associates: affiliate link tracking for purchases made after clicking a LevelRig link. See Amazon's Privacy Notice.
  • Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel and Conversions API): advertising measurement, only if you accept advertising cookies. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
  • Game offer networks (currently AFBooster): receive the click ID when you click a game offer, and tell us when an install happens.
  • Resend: delivers the email when you ask us to send a guide to your PC. That email is sent only because you requested it; the request alone does not add you to our mailing list. Only if you tick the optional box do we keep your address (with the game and page it was entered on, and when and to which wording you agreed) to send you occasional gaming guides, possibly through our newsletter provider (beehiiv). Every such marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Hosting and infrastructure: Cloudflare, Inc.

We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention

  • Analytics data: up to 14 months (Google Analytics default retention);
  • Advertising cookie data: for the lifetime of the relevant cookies (see our Cookie Policy);
  • Game offer clicks: IP address and browser user agent are deleted after 30 days; the rest of the click record (with no IP) is kept for accounting;
  • Email addresses entered to send a guide to your PC: if you leave the optional box unticked, the address itself is not stored. To limit repeated sends, we keep for about 2 days a SHA-256 hash of the address and of your IP address; these hashes are not anonymous, since a known address or IP address can be matched to them;
  • If you ticked the optional box: your address and the details listed above are kept until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribing stops our marketing emails but does not delete these details: we keep them with the date you unsubscribed, so that we do not add you back to our mailing list. Ticking the box again does not re-subscribe you. You can still ask us to send you a guide, and you can ask us to delete your data (see "Your rights" below);
  • Addresses entered before the optional box was introduced: they were kept to send occasional gaming guides, as this policy then stated. Those existing records are still stored and are no longer added to our newsletter; how long we keep them is under review. Any marketing email you receive from us has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time;
  • Email correspondence: kept as long as needed to respond to and document the exchange.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Delete your data;
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data and of targeted advertising (California and other US state privacy laws);
  • Restrict or object to certain processing (EU/UK visitors, under the GDPR);
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@levelrig.com. We may need to verify your request before responding, and will reply within the timeframe required by applicable law.

California and US state privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (which, under California law, can include the use of advertising cookies). LevelRig does not sell personal information for money. To opt out of interest-based advertising, use the consent banner or your browser's cookie controls.

EU/UK visitors (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the UK, we process your data based on your consent (for non-essential cookies) or our legitimate interest in operating the Site securely. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

International data transfers

Some of our providers (Google, Amazon, Cloudflare) may process data outside your home country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on the safeguards those providers make available, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
